Hi! I'm Christina Brown. I have been in the fitness industry since 2005 when I earned my ACE group fitness instructor certification. I have been teaching a variety of classes since and over the years became certified by the following organizations: Mad Dogg Spin, Schwinn Indoor Cycling, Les Mills Body Pump, Les Mills Body Combat, Les Mills CXWORX, SCW Barre, and TRX. I became an ACSM certified personal trainer in 2011 and then went back to school for a M.S. in Exercise Science, which I earned in 2018. I am also a certified nutrition coach, weight loss coach, and mindset coach.
Even though I have always loved to work out, I still struggled with my body image and my eating habits and hopped from one diet to the next.
After failing one diet, I would hear about a new diet and think that this one would be the key to my body image and weight loss woes. I didn't realize that I was wrecking havoc on my metabolism by being on the dieting rollercoaster.
Thankfully, my love of exercising caused me to read everything I could about nutrition and I did a ton of experimenting until I figured out how to best reach my weight loss and fitness goals.
I get great joy in helping others achieve their health and fitness goals via my group exercise classes, Fit & Confident Moms Academy, and personal training sessions. I would love to be able to help you achieve your health and fitness goals, whether they be to lower your cholesterol, lose weight, gain muscle mass, or anything else that is important to you.
I have two beautiful daughters and have been a single mom since 2014. I understand how busy life can get with work, kids' activities, family obligations, etc. I believe that fitness has been the reason I have been able to stay sane throughout all of life's trials. I love to help others learn about all of the benefits that come from living a healthy lifestyle.
When I am not helping others reach their health and fitness goals, you can most likely find me spending time with my daughters, biking, hiking, paddle boarding, going to concerts and sporting events, reading, or meditating.
